Il calore del folclore che genera nuovi costumi
la tradizione baciata dal sole e poi dalla gola
Casa Torchiano is more beautiful than the pictures, if you can imagine that. We wanted to return to Puglia and stay near the sea, so in looking for a place we found Anna and her villas. The entire property was as listed in the description of the Villa, beautiful grounds, very clean and inclusive. We spent many hours looking at the Adriatic, enjoying the sun and loungers. We shopped locally and cooked several dinners in the well equipped kitchen. Be sure to check on water temperature upon arrival -found that we only needed to turn up the heater a bit. We travelled to Lecce and were stunned by the entire city, so many beautiful buildings and a great lunch there. We found the property manager Anna, to be so warm and friendly, upon our arrival. They met us and drove us to the house, which was necessary for the first time. After that we had no issues with driving in the area. You do need a car unless you plan to stay at the villa all the days. It was only a 10 minute drive to the beach. We had a fantastic day at the Ristorante Pizzeria sul Mare, L'Anacora, with long lunch, playing cards on the deck, right on the water. We were made to feel like locals. I would recommend this villa to a friend with full confidence.
The owner picked us up at a petrol station and helped us to find the way to our holiday accomodation. We received a very warm welcome in the house, we were surprised to see the magnificant, luxury vacationhome with a lot of cosy and beautiful places in the garden. The house, garden, swimmingpool and whirlpool were well-maintained and the property was superclean.
We really enjoyed our stay here and we can advise this to all our friends.
The hospitality we received was TOP! thanks for that!! 6 flemish women who enjoyed their stay a lot
We are back from our stay at CASALE DEL VENTO and we just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the property and the service from the staff at Trulli & Dimore.
It’s our second visit to the area and both time we have stayed in one of your villas. The standard of the accommodation is exemplary. The villa was perfect for a relaxing family stay. The shopping service was helpful, ensuring we had enough supplies for the first couple of days.
The Villa has everything you need: dishwasher, washing machine, outdoors barbecue, etc. The swimming pool has a good sized shallow area and is gated off which was a helpful safety feature when you have small children. There was lots of space for the kids to run around the beautiful garden.
Across the road was a local bar where they host live music a couple of nights to about 2am, it didn’t bother our stay but some might find it annoying.
We had a fabulous time and we will be coming back soon.
We had a great time there. It´s clean and in good condition. More than enough space for a family of 4. The place is on a hill with a nice view over the landscape. There´s always some wind and fresh air outside. At the end of our trip we had very cold weather (2°C) and really needed the heating, and thank god it was working properly. There´s not much going on around it, the next facilities are in Castellana, about 3-5 km away. But if you have a car, you are pretty much in the center of everything, we did many great trips to all the great cities around. I can always recommend that villa, the management was also very friendly and helpful.
We stayed for a week and found that the property was in a great position, an easy drive from both airports and the beautiful Monopoli, Polignano a mare and Alberobello. The outdoor space is huge, with plenty of seating areas - the cushioned canopy area was wonderful for shade and relaxing - and a fantastic outdoor kitchen and bbq which we used every night. Views look straight out onto rustic farmland, olive groves and the old, rustling trees around the house make the property especially magical. Not too good for bad hayfever sufferers, and a bit of noise from tractors, but wonderful to look onto.
The house itself is small and cosy, and is cool; perfect for hot days when you can spend most of the time outside. Though watch your head on the low arches!
The owners are friendly, welcoming and professional. Highly recommended.
We had the pleasure of spending a week in late September in a fantastic location I Trulli D´oro as well as being an original place allows you to see hear and breathe the particularity of Puglia with its lands and its olive groves .
This not only for guests from abroad, who do not know properly the territory but also for people like me that since years they do not have pleasure or chance to "dive" themselves in the rural place .
In conclusion, a luxury location without falling into posh place !!!
Congratulations also to the staff of Trulli & Dimore always available and professional .
Note. I think that for stays of one week the cleaning lady should visit at least once in half of the week .
This Trulli has been recently lovingly restored by its owners, with attention to detail; mixing modern touches with traditional. We could not have added anything else to this property to make it more perfect, it was immaculate throughout. Set in an ideal location to visit many stunning places. Puglia is less touristy which was refreshing. We felt very privileged to holiday in this beautiful place. A truly magical and memorable holiday
